Antique Silver Plate Jardiniere

This is a French antique Louis XV Rococo styled silverplate over bronze jardiniere. It is in good condition, with some wear to the plating. We believe it to be late 1800's.

This elegant jardiniere has all the curves of the Rococo style of Louis XV's latter years. It has assymetrical pierced shell forms, gadrooned lobing, trailing florets, c-scrolls and more. A removeable brass liner sits inside the piece.
