An Antique Hand -Carved Teakwood Architectural Fragment on Newer Base from a Temple Door – Thailand – Good Antique Condition – 1 chip to upper right border 19th C. or older. The architectural fragment from Thailand probably once graced a temple door. It is of teakwood and has been mounted on a base in the latter half of the 20th century.
The fragment itself is a stylized dragon who, we think, was meant to protect the temple from harm.
