The bottom bronze rings run through the volutes of the cherubs and have ornamentation of elongated dolphins and central rope twist disc. There are four paw feet extending from a stylized floral and foliate fleur-de-lys motif. Four central motifs of c –scrolls, banding and pinecones are interspersed between the feet. The entire piece has a patterned ground, and numerous bands of varying ornamental motifs.
