Faience Wall Piece
This high fired, glazed faience has a high gloss thick black frame surrounding it. The scene is that of a man and a maiden overlooking the countryside. The colors are numerous on this piece. Surrounding the scene, is a border of floral foliage, cherubs on the sides, and a crest of triple Fleur de Lis, amongst other elements.
The frame has a chip and there are some scratches to the glaze of the faience. It is circa 1870. Includes metal attachment for hanging.
