A French Painted Cast Cement Statue of a Boy Holding a Basket of Fruit – Rubs to Paint, and recent restoration– Circa 1950

This charming statue of a young boy holding a basket of fruit and resting upon a tree stump conjures up thoughts of the French countryside and buying fresh fruit from local vendors.  He is painted a terra cotta color and the stump is done in a  faux bois manner.
