Antique Gien Water Pitcher and Bowl

This is an authentic Gien water pitcher and bowl from France. It is in good antique condition: there are two small chips along the spout of the pitcher and several small ones along the base of the bowl. The bottom of the pitcher is marked "AC 93", while the bottom of the bowl is marked with an "X", and stamped with the Gien symbol of that period.

This large set of an antique French Gien Faience pitcher and bowl were originally meant to be used in the bedroom on top of a mirrored stand for cleansing ones hands and face. Today, they are used as magnificent accessories together or separately.
