Plaster Bas Relief Plaque

This plaque is in good condition, save some chipping to the plaster and paint. It is hard to tell the age, but we think it is mid 1900's or sooner.

The charming plaque depicts a bacchanalian scene in a garden. The bacchus figures are giving a bath to their pet bunnies. Two of them are holding the bunnies, while the others appear to be washing one.

These bas reliefs can be used as overdoors, as was originally done, or they can be placed on a table or hung on a wall.
