Large French Farm Doors-Pine, Early 1800's

This pair of painted, arched French farm doors are made of European Pine and they are in good condition. They were originally from the early 1800's. These doors with their decorative ironwork would complement any arched front doorway or entrance to a wine room. The interior of the doors have a decorative iron strap which partially conforms to the single curve. The bottom of the doors also carries a partial iron strap as does the wider door in its center. This is not only decorative. It is functional in that it holds the vertical planks together. The top and bottom cremone (locking system) fits into a ring (not included) attached to the door frame. Painted in a wonderful pale French blue, this set is a real find for anyone looking for antique arched doors.
