A French Shield of Blue Velvet with a Hand Carved Coat of Arms – Age:  20th C.

This French shield has azure blue velvet with applied hand carved ornamentation of a Coat of Arms painted gold.   A single fleur-de-lis rests atop a crown flanked by beribboned crossed laurel leaf branches.  The triple fleur-de-lys is in the central field and a medal hangs from the ribbon holding the laurel leaf branches.  The ornamentation has old restorations to some of its age separations.
