A Pair of French Louis XVI Style Parcel Painted(recently done) Plaster Bas Reliefs on Framed Wooden Panels-New and Old Architectural Elements – Very Good Condition – 20th Century
These serene French framed plaster bas reliefs depict a Bacchanalian scene of maidens and cherubs playing in a garden setting. There are overhanging trees, trellises, arched columned arcades and, foliage and flowers throughout. The scenes are surrounded by a framed oval floral molding with beading to the interior.
