FRANCE; Late 1600s or Early 1700s

This stunning French religious plaque from the late 1600’s has been hand carved in relief out of wood.  It depicts St. Nicholas and the children. This plaque has extremely fine and detailed carving throughout and has been beautifully taken care of considering its age. Outstanding patina.

Condition:  Old restoration to age crack with wooden butterfly repair
