An Early 1700’s Wooden Framed, French Plaster Triangular Overdoor Bas Relief –Chipping to Paint, Plaster and Wood Commensurate with Age
This antique French plaster overdoor panel features a cherub’s face surrounded by wings and ribbons at his neck within a group of hydrangeas and their leaves and what appears to be tulips. The overdoor is in very good condition considering its age.
These overdoors are in high demand in the architectural market and can be used as wall hangings, table accessories on holders or again over a pair of doors. We have a pair of Antique Orangerie Doors which would be a wonderful complement to this overdoor. See Code 410-75 in the “Architectural Category”.
