Walnut Wood Louis XIII Style Armoire

Early 1800's

This Louis XIII style armoire is constructed of walnut wood and has a beautiful patina. It is circa 1800, and some restoration has been done.

The cornice of this stately piece steps in to reveal dentil molding. Its body has 4 hinged doors and 2 drawers in between them. The piece has raised panel detailing on each door and the center stile has a half floret. This compliments the overall simplicity of the decoration. The body rests upon 6 stepped out moldings and bun feet.
