An Antique Renaissance Style Reliquary Cabinet of European Pine – Condition is commensurate with age – Early 1800’s minor nicks and rubs, some small sections of moldings missing.

 This Church Reliquary Cabinet has a heavily molded cornice with projecting canted corners, centered by a shell carving above a case fitted with a single arched window and the lower section is fitted with an open storage space joined by a paneled back.  Flanking these spaces on either side are freestanding baldachin-type columns connecting to the conforming plinth base.

These beautiful cabinets are still used for the display of religious items  or accessories of any kind.  Because they have a narrow width, they are ideal for small spaces.
