A Painted French Gothic Style Bibliotheque(Bookcase/Library)) made with Antique Architectural Elements of Ornamentation – Good Antique Condition –  Rubs to Wood and Paint –Entire Front and a Portion of Sides are Antique;  Architectural Trim Elements are Antique;  Portions of Side Framing and Back Frame are from the 20th C.

This charming narrow French Gothic style painted bibliotheque has been made with antique architectural elements of French Gothic style ornamentation. The entire front section and the portion attached to it on either side are antique.  The trim moldings on the sides are all antique and have been applied to the frame.   The bibliotheque has two shelves on the interior and the interior top section has been painted to imitate a draped window and starlit sky.  The rest of the bibliotheque has been painted in an aged cream with grey/blue undertones.

Versatile in its uses, this narrow French Gothic bibliotheque could be used as a bookcase, in a bathroom or powder bath for storage of linens, in a kitchen for storage or in any room requiring a narrow piece for  display or storage.
