An Antique French  Empire Style Mahogany Upholstered Meridienne with Fold Down Side – Good Antique Condition – Upholstered Cushion needs some restoration – minor rubbing to wood – Late 1800’s or earlier

This elegant antique French Meridienne has a mechanism on the left back which releases the side to a flat position for reclining.  The pale gold material bears the Napoleonic wreath and the wood surround and legs are a wonderful mahogany.  The feet are castors.

This beautiful French antique meridienne could be placed in any room where additional seating or sleeping is needed.
