An 18th C. French Gothic Style, European Oak Bench/ Trunk-  Normandy, France – Good Antique Condition Commensurate with Age –Old wood separations in some areas – Rub and nicks – No key to trunk portion-Late 1700’s

This majestic antique French Gothic style bench/trunk came from a chateau owned by a gentleman in Normandy.  French Gothic hand carved motifs are on the five seat back panels and five trunk frontage panels.  The ends or side panels repeat the linen fold design of the trunk frontage. This wonderful Gothic French bench/trunk from the late 1700’s has great seating as well as storage capacity.
