This beautiful pair of antique French Louis XIII style fauteuils (French open arm chairs) with pads to arms has recently  been upholstered in floral jacquard fabric.  The overall design is that of muted pink roses and pale green stylized acanthus leaves and greenery on a cream background .  There is a central medallion of a vase holding stems of roses. The upholstery is attached to the frames with brass studs.
