This pair of antique French Louis XIV style armchairs has been hand carved from European Oak.  They are a perfect size for use at the end of a dining table or as occasional chairs anywhere extra seating may be required.  The chairs have ribbed molding on the arms ending in scrolls.  The slanted backs are arched with two right angles and the stretchers are H-shaped with turned moldings.  These chairs are very comfortable—all they need is your choice of upholstery.

Condition:  Minor nicks and rubs to wood. The wood on the seatback Frame and lower section is thicker or more exposed on one chair (see main photo); Once re-upholstered, the amount of exposed wood will match. There are old restorations to back leg and supports added to back of one chair.
