A Pair of Antique Italian Walnut Wood Chairs Upholstered Recently in a Silk Velvet Brocade –Very Good Condition- Minor rubs to wood –Mid to Late 1800’s
This magnificent pair of arm chairs feature acanthus and floral carving with  notched c –scrolls and pierced ornamentation throughout.  Stylized shells are on the central carved top back and lower apron. The arms have acanthus leaf ornamentation and the turned legs have rectangular blocks interspersed.  The stretchers are H-shaped with a central front apron. The recently upholstered seats are in a beautiful silk velvet brocade with a central floral medallion surrounded by lions heads and crowns.
