A Pair of Antique Italian Baroque Style, Walnut Wood Hand Carved Chairs with Upholstered Seat -  Good Antique Condition Commensurate with Age; Minor rubs to wood-Late 1800’s

This pair of antique Italian walnut wood chairs are in the early Baroque Style.  The hand carved and pierced back panels’ ornamentation is carved out of one piece of walnut wood, as are the other areas of pierced carving.  The decoration includes florets, leaves, c-scrolls, a quatrefoil with a central floret, shells and more.  The seats have antique fabric attached to the frames with nailheads and gimp.

These beautiful antique Italian chairs have been a magnificently hand carved and would be an asset to any room.
