Walnut Wood Antique Louis XIV Style Arm Chair with Needlepoint Upholstery – Age:   Frame is Late 1800’s – Needlepoint has been added later
This antique armchair has been stripped at some point in its history.  It has beautifully worn ornamentation of acanthus leaves with center stems of tiny darts.  Square lobed decoration is at the center of the stylized X crossbars and feet.  There are outturned arms and legs on this very comfortable armchair. Condition:  Stripped walnut wood, minor nick and rubs.
