This Kreiss Country French buffet, circa 2000, was produced in Italy.  It has five center drawers with a slight bombe form, flanked by two cabinets, in the Louis XV style.  The two cabinets have one shelf each.  There is ornamentation of c-scrolls, a central basket of flowers with scrolling vines to either side on the shaped apron, acanthus leaves and panels fielded by indented moldings.  The feet are scrolled with acanthus leaf knees in the front and the back feet are shaped, molded scrolls on the outer sides only.  This buffet is extremely well made and has been finished out in a light walnut wood.  A pale cream outlines all ornamentation.  The hardware is aged cast iron and bronze.

Condition: Minor chip to back right foot;  minor rubs to finish
