European Oak Enfilade with Marble Top; 1 Ornate Key;  Condition:  Very good antique condition, minor rubs;  Age:   Circa 1900

This elegant antique French Regence Style enfilade (buffet with three or more doors) features a breakfront profile and slanted s-curve side panels with arched moldings and a conforming marble top. There are four interior drawers total, and two shelves per cabinet.   The four front doors have arched moldings with shaped indents flanking a stylized acanthus leaf.  The indents have ornamentation of foliate c-scrolls, banding, and bellflower drops. The rounded vertical supports all bear ornamentation of banding, patterned grounds, and flowers.  All this rests upon a conforming serpentine plinth base.

This French enfilade is subtle and elegant in its ornamentation, allowing it to mix well with many styles.
