Louis XVI Center Table

This is a painted French, Louis XVI style oval tea table with a carrera marble inset top. A caned shelf at the lower third of the table allows for storage. It is in good condition, save some chipped paint and a bit of broken caning.

The table is decorated with a gadrooning guilloche and florets for decor at its apron. The legs are fluted en asperges. The caned shelf is inset with single caning.

It is a versatile table for many occasions. It would definitely work well in a "shabby chic" environment.
