A French Parcel Painted Wooden Console or Small Mantel  - Good Condition –Chipping to paint -20th Century
This painted French console or small mantel has a Bombay serpentine top which rests upon fluted volute side supports with scroll feet on a block front base.  Traces of that wonderful French pale blue/grey show through the cream paint .
This versatile painted piece is very much in demand in today’s design.
