Incised and Painted Leather Coffee Table from France with H-Stretcher Legs

A Painted and Incised Leather Topped  Rectangular Coffee Table from France – 1940’s or earlier  - Good Condition –Marring and spotting to Leather but not out of character for the style.  Found in France. This leather topped  rectangular coffee table from France has an incised and painted central medallion scene surrounded by a floral border.  This is set off by two vertical painted floral strips bordered on either side with steel nail heads.  The frieze has hand carved squares and rectangles and the entire piece rests upon four baluster legs.
