18th C.  Baroque Carved Storage Trunk from Spain

Good Antique Condition – Old Restorations, Wear and Minor Losses of Wood Consistent with Age

This antique Baroque Trunk from Spain is rectangular in shape with heavily hand forged iron hinges and lock.  The case is of dovetailed construction with geometric, circular floral, and fan form carving on shoe foot supports.  Incised on the front is “Ano 1727”.
