An Antique Tabletop Trunk with Elaborately Carved Walnut Wood Relief Panels –Good Antique Condition- Three minor cracks to panels; minor wear to wood in areas commensurate with age -19th C.

This deep and intricately hand carved walnut wood tabletop trunk/box has four panels carved in relief depicting biblical scenes.  The panels are inset between a carved cornice and pediment with four figures at each corner.  The removable top has an upper carved and molded top.
