This small trunk from France has an antique hand carved frontage from the 19th C. while the remaining wood on the trunk has been reclaimed.  The ornamentation of the antique frontage is that of stylized palm leaves in varying shapes.  It has an unusually narrow depth of 11-1/2”, making it ideal for narrow halls, small entrances, small rooms, or in front of a bed for blanket storage.
