An Antique French, Gothic Style,  European Walnut Wood Trunk -Hand Wrought Iron Hardware – Very Good Antique Condition  Commensurate with Age– Minor rubs to surfaces, rusting to iron, old restorations – Circa 1880

This beautiful medium sized, antique, French Gothic style trunk  has an incredibly deep and rich patina with a high sheen.  The cabinet maker has created a piece with beautifully hand carved joinery and ornamentation.

The motifs are in the French Gothic style and the top is hinged with hand forged and hand hammered iron.  The trunk rests upon four bracket feet connected by a shaped apron.
