An Antique Pair of Parcel Gilt and Gilt Metal Mirrored Sconces from France – Good Antique Condition-Loss of Mirror Silvering – Late 1800’s or older
This magnificent pair of antique Italian sconces are 29” in height.  The photos cannot reveal their beauty, as the parcel gilt patina is just perfect for the new look in antique décor—imperfect surfaces.  Traces of gilding on their wooden frames highlight just the right areas, and the hand wrought  metal miniature roses carry a touch of rust and gilding.  The much sought after original mirrors with silvering loss convey these are definitely antiques.  They are symmetrical in shape but softened by c-scrolls, scrolling acanthus leaves and flowers around their borders.


These Italian sconces will complement any style and room.
