Condition:  Purposely Distressed Parcel Silver Leaf; Holes in top and bottom for electrication, adding a candle pricket, or mounting on a wooden dowel for attaching to a pedestal - 21st C.
This beautiful pair of Italian silver leafed wooden candlesticks from Italy are in the shape of urns on bases.  They have ornamentation of acanthus leaves, beading, stylized egg and dart, and c-scrolls handles topped with gadrooned stylized leaves.  The urns rest upon a stepped out base.
