FRANCE 1800s

This rare, period French Rococo seven light giltwood candelabra features openwork carved ornamentation of graceful scrolling acanthus leaves and floral motifs.  An angel’s face with wings to either side is at the center and is flanked by two curved, gadrooned acanthus leaves rests atop two c-scrolls.  All this rests upon a rectangular giltwood base.

Condition: Previous restorations, Age separations, and minor loss of gilding commensurate with age
