Good Antique Condition-Old Restorations – Minor rubs to wood; original beveled mirror has minor loss of silvering commensurate with age– Late 1800’s or earlier.

This stunning antique French oval mirror has been hand carved  in the Rococo style.  The original beveled mirror has the highly desired loss of silvering, indicating its age and beauty.  At the center top is a crest featuring a lion, which is surrounded on either side by acanthus, c-scroll, ornamentation mixed in with florets at the top and bottom. 

This antique French walnut wood oval  mirror could be used in a powder bath, over a console or in any room needing a wonderful Rococo accent.
