Painting on Canvas

This is a large antique French painting on canvas depicting a young man and two women in a garden setting. The women are seated in front of a large stone pedestal. One is reading a book while the other points to a specific item on the pages. A gentleman is serenading them with what appears to be a balalaika. It is a truly peaceful scene for a large wall space.

The painting is unsigned and is in fair condition. There are some holes in the canvas and there is a partial loss of the frame at the bottom. Pricing reflects damage. Please contact us for restoration estimates if you desire. Circa 1880 or earlier
