French Oil Painting Depicting a Church in St. Tropez
You are looking at a beautiful signed oil painting on canvas from France. It depicts a church in St. Tropez in an impasto technique. It is a wonderful study of light focusing on trees and other foliage, casting shadows upon the front of the church. The church itself is in wonderful creams and has a tile roof leading up to the steeple and bell.
The signature appears to be that of J. Johner. It is not dated, and it is in very good condition.
