You are looking at an exceptional framed giltwood oil painting on canvas by listed artist, Charles-Barromee Antoine Houry (1823-1893). The date of this painting is not visible. It is in excellent condition (a larger painting of Houry's sold at Christies New York for $17,250).
The subject is of a boy feeding his rabbits outside an arched stone entrance. Houry's use of light in this painting is truly wonderful. This is a very fine painting for any discerning collector.
