Pair of French Prints in Louis XVI Style Oval Silver Leafed Frames – Very Good Condition – Circa 1920’s

These charming French prints are in beautiful silver leafed frames of the Louis XVI style.  The crossed ribbon and reed on the frames’ borders were used profusely as one of the decorative motifs during the reign of Louis XVI and thereafter.  The peaceful scenes are different from eachother, but, depict a young man and woman enjoying a relaxing moment in a pastoral setting of trees, foliage and lambs in the forefront.
