A Period, Late 1700’s  French Vertical Bordered  Aubusson Verdure Tapestry Fragment  - Good Antique Condition – separation of horizontal weaving in areas. This antique French bordered Period Aubusson Verdure fragment has the classic teals, golds, tans, and browns of the period.  Foliage, trees, and stylized swans on the water grace this lovely fragment.  The borders are of the period and feature urns, scrolling foliage, flowers, tassels, grapes c and s-scrolls, vases with flowers on pedestals and more.  Tapestries lend warmth and character to any room.
