This peaceful French scene is of a young woman seated outside of a stable. While she is knitting, there are geese, lambs, and flying birds taking an avid interest in what she is doing. In the background, there is a portion of the main house and lush foliage throughout. Gentle clouds are depicted in the blue sky beyond. Signed G. Berger 1903.
