An Antique Gilt Framed French Oil Painting of an Interior Farmhouse Scene – Signed E. Lega – no date. Very Good Antique Condition -Minor rub to bottom of Frame. Frame may not be as old as painting - 19th C.
This antique French oil painting depicts an interior scene of an old French farmhouse. The mother is adding items to the cooking pot in the hearth, while her son is kneeling on the stone floor eating and feeding the roosters. The front door is open, allowing light to come into the house.
