This jacquard woven tapestry was found in Provence and depicts a scene of a stone wall fountain having a mythological fountain face.  Water is pouring from his mouth into a basin. Trailing vines of ivy surround the face and back of the fountain, while watering cans sit in front of the basin.  This peaceful scene has been done in colors of white, taupe, brown, and pale and dark green.
