An Antique Carrera  Marble Plaque of St. Basil from France – Previous restored cracks (see photos)- Minor Chips to top and bottom borders– Circa 1850

This antique French religious marble plaque depicts St. Basil (329-379 A.D.) standing  upon a  floral decorated bracket surrounded by Doric acanthus leaf columns. Incised decoration is between the columns at the top.
