A French Hand Carved Limestone Wall Fountain with Semi-Circle Basin- Re-Edition –Aged Provence Finish- Ageing Marks to Fountain- 20th C.

This French re-edition wall fountain is part of our imported and hand carved limestone collection from France.  The fountain is a re-edition of one that would have been found in 18th C. France.  The hand chiseled limestone has a typical Provence coloration to the finish.  Simplistic ornamentation of a central squared column with ball finial and s-scroll volutes to either side, adorn the back piece that holds a rusted s-scroll iron spout.  A stylized semi-circle, one tiered, shaped basin adorns the front.
