Antique Louis XV Style Glazed Stone Wall Fountain

French , Parcel Paint, Glazed, Stone Wall Fountain  with Rocaille Shell Basin and Double Dolphin Base – Good Antique Condition –Restoratation to Shell –Finish has chips. Late 1800’s.

This antique French glazed,painted stone wall fountain is in the Rococo style of Louis XV.  The uppermost portion is outturned and curved volutes framing the child whose mouth is the spout.  The undulating  rocaille shell basin is supported by twin dolphins at its base. 

This wonderful wall fountain could be used either inside or outside.  It could also be used as a sink in a powder bath
