A Bronze Wall Fountain with Ornamentation –  Re-Edition-Late 20th C.

This fabulous late 20th C. bronze wall fountain has a stylized coat of arms configuration on the top wall plate, including an eagle atop a cartouche, winged half figures with acanthus leaf tails supporting torches, and a central lion’s face with the fountain spout at his mouth.  The basin is upheld by a putto holding grape bunches with hippocamps to either side on a platform base.  Hippocamps were often used in conjunction with Neptune, God of the Sea.  Condition:   1 Spout;  Rubs and water marks – Very Good Condition
