A Pair of Cast Statuaries on Pedestals of a Boy with his Goat from France  -Re-Editions- Made of Crushed Stone and Cement;   Distressed and aged finish with pits and rubs on purpose– Good Condition – Restoration to back legs of goat on one statue-20th C.

This charming pair of re-edition statues on pedestals from France features a boy with his goat.  The boy and goat appear to be walking and the boy has his arm placed tenderly around the goat’s right shoulder.  There is a motif of a drapery swag over the boy’s arm and it is repeated upon the sides of the stylized octagonal shaped pedestal.
