Antique over door gate for a headboard
This magnificent cast iron overdoor has a central crest encircling the letter "L". Emanating from either side are C and S scroll vines of bellflowers, buds, and fleur-de-lis decor. This would also make a wonderful headboard. It is in two pieces-the right extension separates from the center and left extension.
It is from the late 1800's or older. Excellent condition, besides, obviously the paint.
