From the 1700s, this hand-carved Tuscan cassapanca bench features a hand-painted coat of arms on the shapely backrest.  The seat lifts to reveal a storage compartment with two tills.

CONDITION:  Strong antique condition.  Minor paint losses, which have been touched up at some point.  Restoration to the apron.  Light age separations with commensurate nicks and wood losses.  Key, but the lock is non-functional.
